CMA YOUTH BASKETBALL OVERVIEW

CMA Youth Basketball takes place from January – March each year. Four divisions with 6 teams in each division (grades K-8) participate in a week of instruction (Skills Clinics Week) followed by approximately 6-8 weeks of games each Thursday night from 5:30 – 8:30 PM followed by playoff week in mid-March. An awards banquet follows playoff week. Approximately 175 children participate each year. The program offers instructional play in a friendly, encouraging atmosphere and provides children basic basketball skills and an outlet for their pent up energy during the winter months. An activity room is available should children need to do homework or need a place to hang out while their siblings are playing basketball. A concession stand is available. All of the adults working with your children have the necessary clearances. Online registration and payment are offered as well as mail in or drop off. Team t-shirts are included in the registration price. Reduced pricing is available for families registering more than one child.
